Werkwerkwerkwerk...

Day 64/100
A picture of you at work.

As much as I was befuddled by yesterday's photo challenge I'm glad it racked my brain enough to make today's a little easier. I work primarily in surveillance and cctv but as I said yesterday I was able to work for a week moving a 70some foot luxury yacht. Here, my brother and I are plotting tomorrow's course in the GPS. The tricking part is getting into the open sea to run it, and to get to open sea requires navigating some rather narrow and somewhat shallow passages. By no means is this any type of engineering or national-security level calculations, it is still important. At the time I had been married less than a year and I could not afford any damages to this vessel, so any and every precaution has to be taken. It was a fun move from New Bern, NC to Washington D.C. I'd gladly do it again, because it pays almost what my current job does, but next time my wife has to come along :)
After getting out of the inlet into open water walked out onto the back of the boat and snapped this shot.
Jeremiah and Dad at the helm.
Sunset in a different harbor, progress was made.
The engine room. Two roaring diesels, each one the size of a mini-cooper.
My quarters, got the port holes open to clean off the sea salt and get a nice clear view again.
