Day 76/100
A picture of you drinking something.
Boylan Bottleworks has gripped the Dodson family. We find ourselves opting for their wonderful carbonated concoctions over truffles and triple chocolate cake, even trumping key lime cheesecake. Whether indulging in a soda or one of their "natural" selections, these bottles of sugary goodness have yet to fail. A1 steak sauce may have had their campaign on how important the last drop is, but I've got one for Boylan, here's the pitch:
Intro, summer day in a city garden. (music something trendy with an electronic slant, a la Royksopp's "Eple") A pretty girl sits on a blanket, kids playing in the background. Focus on girl on blanket enjoying a Boylan's soda with a breeze in her hair, and she finishes the bottle. Disappointment comes over her face, focus on little bit left on bottle bottom, focus back on her face now with determination. She looks around for a solution, a hummingbird flies by and catches her attention. Focus in on hummingbird retrieving nectar from a flower. Back to girl as a sly look comes over her face. She puts the bottle to her lips and tips it back, focus on the last drop barely moving from the bottom, zoom back to see the girl with bottle tipped up and in a flash the bottle fills with a long tongue (mimicking the hummingbird image) and just as quickly empties. Focus in on girl smiling and completely empty Boylan bottle. (Overlay logo with narration saying "Boylan, strangely delicious.")
Okay, so it may not be the most enticing image, and possibly terrifying to many viewers. BUT, it will catch people's attention, create conversation and spur the creation of a warning label that says "Do not place tongue in bottle neck, may get stuck and bring about pain and ridicule." Till that day though, I will consume cane cola; my wife will crave cream soda; my brother will ingest the ginger ale and my mother will continue to hoard their natural black cherry.
