Crazy Night Out

Day 69/100
A picture of a crazy night out.

I think a good imagination is a terrible thing to waste, so is a good story. Allow me an attempt at giving you a story with enough room to let your imagination play.

An old abandoned hospital sits on the edge of a small valley town. The weather is cool on this late fall night. It's after midnight. A group of college friends have heard about other visits to the hospital and go to seek their own thrills. A couple of drive-bys to keep an eye out for police are followed by pulling around behind the hospital and parking in the woods. A two hundred yard walk down to the back door, glass broken and door ajar. One person in, followed by another and another. The whole group is inside. Cautious steps on broken floor tiles and wary peeks around corners and into dark rooms. Wanderings around the main floor lead to the basement in time. While in the cold, surrounded by reflections of stainless steel in an empty kitchen a boom echoes on the floor above. A door flung open. The pounding of feet is only rivaled by the pounding of my heart. How do we get out? The police wouldn't run would they? Who will try to leave first and get the car?

Thank you for the indulgence.
